- ➤ The new SCOPE Senior Center at 243 Marshall Road in Champion township opened Monday offering seniors age 50+ card games, self-defense (Tuesdays and Fridays), line dancing (weekends), and coffee on Mondays and Wednesdays. - ➤ Kimberly-Clark will donate 15 million diapers over the next 15 days for families in need as it marks the 15th anniversary of the National Diaper Bank Network. Construction continues on its new Trumbull County facility in Warren which is expected to create 500 jobs. WFMJ
- ➤ Quaker City Concrete in Salem got $110,000 in financing, including a $20,000 grant, to install a dust control system that will help it meet EPA standards and protect its 31 employees. The project under the Small Business Assistance Program will improve air quality and workplace safety. WFMJ

- ➤ The Mahoning Valley Historical Society hosted the January 'Bites and Bits of History' program at Tyler History Center on Thursday afternoon, presenting 31 local firsts as part of America250. - ➤ Harding and Howland robotics teams are building robots for the 2026 Rebuilt challenge and preparing for upcoming competitions; Harding will hold a scrimmage on March 7 (with contests in Rochester, Chicago, and Miami) while Howland is set to compete in Cleveland’s Buckeye Regional.
