- ➤ A gas leak at the intersection of Niles Carver Road and Salt Springs Road closed a road in Weathersfield Township today before 1 p.m. as crews work to contain the leak with no immediate danger to the public. WFMJ
- ➤ A car crashed into the historic covered bridge in Newton Falls around 2 a.m., causing minor damage to its left side and closing it to traffic while officials decide when it may reopen. WFMJ

- ➤ Shapes Unlimited Inc. opens its new 80,000 sqft headquarters and factory in North Jackson today (at 13001 Mahoning Ave) to consolidate operations into one facility; the building is the first in the North Jackson Commerce Park expansion led by Top Property Holdings and marks the company’s 30th anniversary.
