Youngstown State University hosted its annual African Marketplace Black History Month event on Saturday at James A.

McKay Auditorium in Beeghly Hall, featuring local vendors like Paparazzi Jewelry and vibrant African dance performances from Harambee of Youngstown Inc. to honor historic milestones.

On Sunday, Feb. 8, the Metroplex Expo Center in Girard hosted its first Northeast Ohio Reptile Show of 2026, drawing over 700 guests three hours before closing at 3 p.m. Vendors sold reptile feeders and hosted educational booths, and future shows will occur bi-monthly at the center.
