- ➤ The Jewish Community Relations Council of the Youngstown Area Jewish Federation hosted its 32nd Community Holocaust Commemoration at the Mahoning County Courthouse rotunda on Tuesday, where survivors’ families lit six candles to remember 6 million Holocaust victims. - ➤ The Mahoning County Career and Technical Center in Canfield today is breaking ground on a $7 million 13000 square foot health and wellness facility that will offer outpatient mental and physical health services along with a school based clinic and a training site for local health workers. Jim Tressel and superintendent John Zehentbauer said funding includes a state grant of $5,030,814 and nearly $2 million in center funds—this center will serve over 6,500 people annually when completed in August—supporting expanded community health training.
