- ➤ The Oakfield Trailhead on the Western Reserve Greenway will close Monday, May 5 for slide repairs until work is complete — visitors can reach the trail using the Lockwood Trailhead on State Route 87 or the Sunside Trailhead on State Route 305. Funding comes from the Appalachian Community Grant Program in partnership with the Eastgate Council of Governments. WFMJ

- ➤ Authorities arrested 56-year-old Young Hee Yoon from Warren on Thursday in connection with a human trafficking ring that allegedly forced women into prostitution at two massage parlors—Tiger Spa and Sunny Spa—with warrants still out for seven other suspects and a hearing set for Monday, May 5. - ➤ A city man, 35-year-old Nathaniel Cheatham, pleaded guilty to failing to obey a police officer's order after leading police on three chases on December 3 in his SUV—he was sentenced to one year in prison by Mahoning County Common Pleas Court. WYTV
- ➤ Today, the Mahoning and Trumbull County Sheriff's Offices received $30,000 each + the Columbiana County Sheriff's Office received $142,248.88 from a $2.2 million RecoveryOhio grant to fight drug trafficking in our valley. WFMJ
- ➤ On Thursday, Judge Maureen Sweeney sentenced 33-year-old Kevon Williams to 18 months in prison after officers found a .22-caliber pistol in his car during a stop on April 5—Williams had a past conviction for a shooting that killed one man and injured another. WKBN
