- ➤ Youngstown residents can get a free tree planted in their yards by signing up at Youngstown CityScape as part of the Mahoning Valley TreeCorps project—this effort will also plant trees in parks and other public spaces over the next three years. WYTV

- ➤ Police said thieves used a Bobcat skid steer to steal an ATM from the 7 17 Credit Union on Youngstown-Kingsville Road in Vienna Township just before 4 a.m. Saturday by ramming it from its base and loading it into a 2003 Ford F-350. WYTV
- ➤ Liberty Police in Liberty Township are searching for 14-year-old Lennay Vaughn, who was last seen at 8 p.m. on June 15 and is described as a Black girl with very short hair, brown eyes, and weighing about 130 pounds; she wore a brown shirt and gray pants, may have carried a pink tote bag, and did not have her medication or cell phone — officials urge anyone with information to call 330-675-2730. - ➤ Heavy police presence was reported on E. Avondale Avenue on Youngstown’s South Side Monday morning—several cruisers and ambulances were seen at the scene. WYTV

- ➤ Downtown Youngstown is buzzing with live music at the Youngstown Foundation Amphitheatre as JAC Management’s summer series has planned over 40 events through September—one sold-out country concert drew over 5,000 fans. A new Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area lets concertgoers take drinks with them and is expected to boost local spending by over $5 million—Rick Springfield is set to perform in two weeks. WYTV

- ➤ Salem Regional Medical Center has opened its new occupational health center in North Jackson—an area that lacked specialized care—to offer checkups, injury treatment and drug tests for local workers in the fast-growing Mahoning Valley. The clinic is open Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and will add urgent care in August—further supporting workplace safety. WFMJ

- ➤ Cardinal Mooney High School in Youngstown will host a two-day Football Camp of Champions for grades 3 to 8 on June 30 and July 1 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.—the camp is led by head coach Frank Colaprete and experienced coaches including Michael Zordich Sr. from Youngstown State and Reno Ferri from the University of Akron, and the $50 fee includes a camp T-shirt and pizza party.
