- ➤ Community members held the annual Run for Caitlin 3K and 5K on Saturday morning to honor Caitlin Yager, who was killed in a car accident in 2013, and to raise funds for local student scholarships. - ➤ Today, the Joe Ambrose Memorial Fund & Canfield Football Alumni Club hosted a cookout and casino fundraiser at the St. Maron Church recreation area in Youngstown to honor Joe Ambrose, who died in 2018. - ➤ Camilo Sotolongo-Barreto (38) from Pittsburgh was indicted Thursday for the April 4 stabbing death of Nester Diaz (37) on Youngstown’s West Side in the 3700 block of Tippecanoe Road and faces a life sentence if convicted while held on a $1 million bond since June 5. The Vindicator

- ➤ Judge Renee DiSalvo of Youngstown Municipal Court hosted a 'Steering Clear' workshop Saturday morning in downtown Youngstown where drivers with suspended licenses met with volunteer attorneys and representatives from the BMV to get help with reinstating their licenses—participants also received guidance on court and financial requirements with support from local agencies. - ➤ The FDA announced that 110,292 cases of ice cream bars made by Rich Ice Cream Co. have been recalled for possible Listeria contamination and were sold in Ohio and Pennsylvania—along with several other areas. The recall is Class II and remains ongoing as of July 25. WKBN
