CRIME NEWS
- ➤ A mobile home on the 1100 block of Churchill Hubbard Road in Liberty caught fire early Saturday evening with suspected arson, and the state fire marshal along with the Liberty Fire Department investigated the incident in Grimm Mobile Home Park—no injuries were reported and a $5,000 reward was offered for tips. - ➤ Packard Music Hall in Warren has refreshed its stage & main floor by stripping, sanding and resealing the floor over the past two weeks. The improvement was led by five partners who worked together to keep the performance hall strong for the community. The Vindicator

GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Trumbull County commissioners and Brookfield and Hubbard township trustees supported a plan Friday to buy land around Coalburg Lake and save its old dam — they will review resolutions next week that could secure state grant funds with no local cost if proper legal language is finalized.
