Youngstown Skatepark Association is holding a fundraiser at Westside Bowl on Saturday, November 21.

The event features a vendor market from noon to 4 p.m. and live music from 5 to 11 p.m. with a $10 cover charge for music — proceeds will support plans for a free public skatepark.

8 in a new building at the Suzi Solomon Campus — formerly Allen’s Pharmacy. An open house and ribbon cutting took place Monday and the 7,420 sqft facility now offers four classrooms, a multipurpose area for therapy, and increased security for roughly 60 students.

Trumbull County commissioners will vote today on contracts allowing sheriff deputies to serve as School Resource Officers in seven school districts until June 2027 — each district will pay $83,701.78 for law enforcement during school sessions.
