- ➤ On Monday, the Youngstown Foundation announced that it awarded $1.2 million in grants to 17 local nonprofits, including $400,000 for renovations at the Butler Institute of American Art—an effort to enhance museum access, preserve its collection and support new educational programs as it works to regain accreditation. - ➤ Township trustees, park board, school board members, and Rotary club members rededicated Richard E. Orwig Park over the weekend after a remodeling project that added new lighting, trees, landscaping, benches, and a repaired gazebo—officials said the work used donated funds with no taxpayer dollars spent. - ➤ Hubbard's safety director, Shawn Rentz, updated residents that Enbridge Gas Ohio's project on Liberty Street, Main Street, School Street and Walnut Street has led to traffic messaging limiting southbound movement near Exit 234 A and B—he will talk with ODOT and PUCO to seek further changes.
