A dedication event was held yesterday at the Lamoncha Family Center for Advanced Manufacturing in Youngstown where it was renamed to honor the Lamoncha family's role in advancing local industry through 3D printing, as Mark Lamoncha of Humtown Products and local officials highlighted its future as an aerospace innovation hub.

The exhibit Remembering Our Fallen is on display at the Kinsman House for public viewing until Oct.

Developers broke ground for the new Youngstown Technology Park on Exal Court near Salt Springs Road Tuesday evening, launching phase one of a 200,000 sqft industrial park that will house light and advanced manufacturing companies with a 50,400 sqft facility set for completion at end of May.

At Monday's meeting, the Liberty Board of Education approved a psychological testing contract, arts programming funded partly by a $35,000 donation, teacher evaluator appointments for 2026-27, and a nurse contract until June 30.

Judges in Warren and Youngstown are hosting workshops to help people with suspended licenses regain driving privileges.

State officials announced Tuesday that YSU received $1.5 million from the Appalachian Regional Commission to build a connected infrastructure lab at the Excellence Training Center to serve 165 students over three years while Niles was granted $402,500 for electrical upgrades that may draw $20 million in private investment.
