Scott from Austintown served six years in the Army—leading maintenance operations in Iraq and managing humanitarian missions in Haiti—before joining the Army Reserve and starting a civilian career at TJX HomeGoods in Lordstown; she will soon mark 10 years at the distribution center and credits her military training for building her leadership skills.
