- ➤ Downtown business owners urged an immediate fix for the steam heating problem that left 28 buildings without hot water and heat after Wabash Power Equipment reclaimed its unit earlier this month for nonpayment. The Downtown Steam Customer Group—which includes local officials—is planning a short-term solution for winter heating as discussions continue. WKBN
- ➤ Master technician Brendon Maurer, 25, from Canfield placed second in the national Subaru Technician Competition at Subaru of America's headquarters in Camden, New Jersey—winning $1,000 and gear—and he will become a senior master technician at Boardman Subaru in January 2026. WKBN
- ➤ Foxconn said it will deploy humanoid robots at its new Houston factory using NVIDIA technology to move objects, plan paths and check operations for quality control — a system designed to boost efficiency.
