  • A national meal delivery service is looking for volunteer drivers in Mahoning County to deliver meals to home-bound seniors and others in need during winter. • Youngstown's Westside Bowl will relaunch its Pay it Forward Pizza program on November 2 to help those at risk of losing paychecks or SNAP benefits due to the government shutdown — the bowl is funding the first 100 pizzas and invites $10 donations for each 12-inch pizza.  WKBN
  • Youngstown Diocese began an emergency food drive on Friday, October 31 to help those facing food insecurity amid concerns over potential SNAP cuts from a government shutdown.
