- ➤ The Girard FIRST Robotics Robocats Aptiv Team held its annual winter fundraiser on Saturday, Dec. 6 in Girard by winterizing over 60 lawn mowers to raise funds and teach maintenance skills for its upcoming robotics season. - ➤ Governor Mike DeWine signed an executive order today that allocates up to $490,000 in fiscal years 2026 and 2027 to Catholic Charities Regional Agency to provide food and needs assistance for families in Mahoning, Columbiana, and Trumbull counties. - ➤ OPSMA announced the 2025 Division IV and V All-Ohio Teams recognizing local players and coaches. Top honors were given to athletes such as Brayden DeVito (Shelby) for offense and Cincere Johnson (Cleveland Glenville) for defense, with selections spanning first, second, and third teams.
