About this event

What should the future of Southwestern Pennsylvania look like? Built to Thrive is the region’s Long-Range Plan, helping guide the decisions that will shape our communities for years to come. Join us at a public meeting to learn more and share what priorities matter most to you!

The SPC team is currently developing the Long-Range Plan (LRP), “Built To Thrive.” This plan will identify the region’s goals, strategies, and projects related to economic development and transportation over the next 25–30years.

As part of the stakeholder and public involvement process for the Long-Range Plan, SPC staff will be hosting a PPP/Public Meeting in each county to gather input and hear from the people who live, work, and do business in our region. Staff from SPC, PennDOT, and the counties will be in attendance toshare information about the LRP’s development and receive feedback from PPP members and the public.

Your voice matters! These meetings provide residents and stakeholders with an opportunity to share their thoughts, concerns, comments, and feedback as we work together to plan for the region’s future. They are also a great opportunity to connect directly with SPC staff, ask questions, and learn more about the many areas in which SPC works.

Our transportation team will kick off the meeting by introducing the LRP vision and strategies and discussing projects in your area. We encourage you to join the conversation, ask questions, and share your ideas.
