At Christ United Church, we believe that some of the strongest relationships begin with the simplest moments—sharing a meal, enjoying a laugh, or sitting across the table from someone new.

That's what Card Sharks is all about!

Card Sharks is a fellowship group where people of all ages and backgrounds can gather, enjoy some friendly competition, share good food, and build lasting friendships. Whether you're an experienced card player or someone who hasn't picked up a deck in years, there's a seat waiting for you.

There's Always Room for One More

Card Sharks isn't just for longtime church members or people who already know one another. It's for anyone looking for a little fellowship, a little fun, and an opportunity to connect.

You don't need to be a card expert. You don't need to bring a partner. And you certainly don't need to worry about fitting in.

Just come as you are, pull up a chair, and join the fun!

Through food, laughter, conversation, and a little friendly competition, we hope to build relationships that extend well beyond the card table.

Faith Is Lived in Community

Acts 2:46 reminds us that the early Christians gathered together, shared meals, and enjoyed fellowship with glad and sincere hearts.

That picture of the early church is at the heart of what we're building through 12 Stones.

Christian fellowship isn't limited to Sunday morning worship. It happens around dinner tables, in living rooms, through shared experiences, and wherever God's people come together in friendship.

Our hope is that Card Sharks becomes more than a monthly gathering. We want it to become a place where friendships deepen, people feel connected, and everyone knows they belong to a larger church family.
