If you're expecting in Trumbull County, here's where things stand. Mercy Health announced Oct. 28 that labor and delivery services will end at St. Joseph Warren Hospital in early December, with obstetrician services shifting to St. Elizabeth Boardman Hospital.
Dozens of people rallied outside the hospital Saturday. Commissioner Rick Hernandez said, "There's no way that I believe we can deliver a thousand more babies at the Boardman campus as what they do here on a yearly basis." Commissioner-elect Kristen Rock joined them.
